How I Use Benable to Create Evergreen Affiliate Income (and Get Indexed on Google)
What Benable Is (and Why It Works Differently)
At its core, Benable is a curated recommendation platform. But the reason it works — especially for SEO — is that it encourages structure and clarity.
Unlike most link tools, Benable:
- Organizes recommendations into topic-based lists
- Allows for written context, not just links
- Creates crawlable pages that Google can understand
- Includes thousands of affiliates - no need to apply to each program indivdiually.
I don’t treat Benable as a place to dump every affiliate link I have. I treat it like a small reference library — each list answering one clear question.
Google likes that.

Why Niche Focus Matters (Especially for Indexing)
My niche sits at the intersection of:
- Witchy nature & gardening
- Slow living and creative small business
That specificity is an advantage.
When a Benable list is tightly aligned with a niche, it sends clearer signals:
- The list has a purpose
- The recommendations are intentional
- The page serves a specific audience
Broad, unfocused lists struggle to index. Narrow, thoughtful ones don’t.

Case Study: How My Benable Lists Get Indexed
I currently have multiple Benable lists indexed in Google within my niche. I didn’t do anything complicated — but I was very deliberate.
Here’s the general pattern I follow.
1. One List, One Clear Intent
Each list answers a single, simple question, such as:
- What tools do I actually use for this?
- What would I recommend to someone just starting?
- What products fit this specific aesthetic or use case?
I avoid mixing audiences or purposes in the same list.
2. Fewer Items, Higher Confidence
Most of my lists are short.
I only include items I would genuinely recommend — often things I use myself or have researched deeply. This makes the descriptions easier to write and the list more coherent.
Quality matters more than volume, for both readers and search engines.
3. Descriptions Written Like Notes to a Friend
I write descriptions the way I speak:
- Who this is for
- Why it’s useful
- One honest note or caveat
No hype. No pressure.
This naturally creates keyword-rich language without trying to game SEO.
4. Clear, Searchable List Titles
I name lists the way people search, not the way brands advertise.
Clear titles help Google understand:
- What the page is about
- Who it’s for
- When it should show up in results

How I Structure Benable Lists for Google
This is the simple framework I use every time.
List Title
- Plain language
- Specific topic
- No clever wording at the expense of clarity
List Description
- One short paragraph explaining the purpose of the list
- Natural language (not keywords stuffed in)
- Focused on usefulness
Products
- Each item clearly tied to the list’s intent
- Honest descriptions
- No filler
That’s it.
SEO doesn’t need to be complicated to be effective.
How I Help My Lists Get Discovered
I don’t aggressively promote my Benable lists.
Instead, I place them where they make sense:
- Linked from relevant blog posts
- Shared occasionally on Pinterest
- Referenced in my newsletter when relevant
These contextual mentions help search engines connect the dots — and they feel natural to readers.
What I Don’t Do (and Why)
I don’t:
- Create dozens of low-effort lists
- Chase trending products outside my niche
- Rewrite descriptions constantly
- Treat Benable like a social feed
Benable works best when you let it be quiet and consistent.
A Simple Way to Get Started
If you’re curious about using Benable but feel overwhelmed, start small:
- Choose one narrow topic
- Create one thoughtful list
- Write like a human
- Let it sit and mature
That’s how evergreen income is built — slowly.
